This year, I’ll be focusing on my writing with a fervor and determination I haven’t done before. For that reason, I’m saying goodbye to my old websites I’ve continued to update long past my interest in their subject matter.

Instead, I have created this new author website to showcase my writing and give me a venue to talk about things of interest to me. It’s time I started taking myself seriously as a writer, and this author page is a starting place.

My About page will tell you a little about me. And I’ll be posting some stories (both unpublished and previously published) on my Stories page.

On my blog, I’ll be discussing things that are interesting to me, the stuff that shapes my writing. I may discuss the newest LEGO sets that I’ve built, some unearthed UFO videos on YouTube, or the latest summer blockbuster at the theater. I’ll discuss books, movies, television, comics books, and good food. I’ll blog extensively about the weirdness that is my life, so you can be amused by my world.

What you won’t find on this website are the ubiquitous “advice for authors by an author” posts that are currently 68% of the content on the web. Visit The Confabulator Cafe if that’s what you’re looking for. I blog there once a week on various topics about writing.

On occasion, I may discuss my own writing — especially if I have news that something is being published. Hopefully that will happen often in 2013.

It’s a new year, and this year is going to be mine.
